Pam White covers both science and medical stories for KUAT. Topics range from how artificial hearts are made (they're handmade) to what the lakes consist of on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons (maybe methane).
Besides her work for KUAT she’s worked on independent documentaries, including one she produced on rodeo photographer, Louise Serpa, which aired on PBS and won a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award.
Originally from Ohio, she graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Fine Arts, outside of reporting she’s had some interesting pursuits including selling beneficial insects to local farms and ranches.
In her free time, she’s an avid horseback rider and also enjoys spending time with her son Chris who is attending the U of A.
