Susie Hernandez joined Arizona Public Media as its Television Program Director in September 2008. Susie served for ten years in various capacities including, most recently, the Associate Director of Broadcast at the Independent Television Service (ITVS) in San Francisco, an organization funded by CPB that assists independent television producers with the creation of programs distributed to public television stations by PBS, American Public Television and the National Educational Telecommunications Association. Independent Lens is just one of the many ITVS series or programs 6 has broadcast over the years. Susie’s portfolio also includes a stint as the Auction Manager for public station KRCB-TV in Rohnert Park, California.
