Arizona Public Media (AZPM) announced today that Amanda Gormley has joined the organization as Marketing & Communications Manager. In this role, she will be responsible for the management and execution of AZPM’s key marketing, communications, brand development, and engagement initiatives. Gormley will also oversee digital communications, station events and outreach, and the development, production, and dissemination of marketing and communications collateral to internal and external constituents.
"Throughout my life, I have turned to public media to deepen my understanding of the world around me,” said Gormley. “I am thrilled to join the team at Arizona Public Media, and look forward to supporting AZPM's mission to educate, inform, and inspire by bringing people and ideas together.”
Gormley was previously the Senior Director of Outreach for the International Dark-Sky Association. Prior to that position, she served as the company’s Director of Communication. Gormley brings to AZPM a proven track record of building and positioning communications at both the strategic and tactical levels. She has successfully directed all aspects of engagement, collaborating with business, marketing, and communication teams to support key organizational goals by defining key priorities, building and improving high impact communication, designing public relations and marketing plans, driving branding and advertising strategies, and implementing strategic digital, email, and social media programs.
