Scheduled Maintenance to Disrupt TV Service for all AZPM TV channels

Midnight, January 5th to Friday Morning, January 6th January 19th at 10 p.m. to Friday morning, January 20th NPR and Classical radio signals may be affected

Tucson, Arizona – January 3, 2012 – Arizona Public Media will conduct maintenance at our broadcast facility twice in January 2012 in order to improve our system reliability during normal operations and in emergency situations.

The first outage will take place late Thursday night at approximately midnight, January 5th resuming mid-Friday morning January 6th. This will disrupt service on all of Arizona Public Media’s TV channels, and may possibly affect NPR and Classical radio signals as well. Additional intermittent outages may occur in our Sierra Vista service area as we bring the system together.

The second service upgrade and outage will take place from 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 19th until early Friday morning January 20th. This will also affect all of AZPM’s television signals, and may possibly affect NPR and Classical radio signals.

The AZPM website www.azpm.org will function normally and will have updates as they are available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As always, it is our goal to provide our community the highest quality public broadcast service available, and we appreciate your support.
