Gubernatorial Candidate Forum Sunday, September 21 at 6 p.m. at Centennial Hall FREE and open to the public

TUCSON, ARIZONA – September 4, 2014 –Continuing the tradition of informing voters, the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA) and Arizona Public Media (AZPM®) announce a live forum between candidates running for Governor of Arizona, as part of ASUA’s Our Voice, Our Vote campaign. The forum will be Sunday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Centennial Hall at the University of Arizona, 1020 E. University Blvd., Tucson, Arizona. Moderators will be Lorraine Rivera, host of AZPM’s Arizona Week and Joey Fisher, editor-in-chief of The Arizona Daily Wildcat.

Four political party candidates – Democratic, Libertarian, Republican and Americans Elect – have been invited to attend.

The 90-minute forum is free and open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m.

UA Students and the public are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates using #OurVoiceOurVote or at ourvoiceourvote@gmail.com.

Tickets are required and will be available for pick up starting Friday, September 12 at the following locations. Limit four per request:

UA Visitor Center, 811 N. Euclid Ave.

The UA BookStore at the Student Union Memorial Center, 1209 E. University Blvd.

The A-Store at Main Gate, 845 N. Park Ave.

Parking is free to the public at the Tyndall Avenue Garage, at the corner of Tyndall and 4th Street. Visit here for the interactive campus map. Shuttles to Centennial Hall will be available at the east side exit of the Tyndall Avenue Garage starting at 4:30pm prior to the forum and up to 45 minutes after the end of the forum. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the hall.
