Honoring the spirit of Mister Rogers through kindness

AZPM and Shaffer Dry Cleaning partner for Mister Rogers Sweater Drive, Oct 13-Nov 13.

Mister Rogers Neighborhood signature hero
Fred Rogers Company

AZPM is partnering with Shaffer Dry Cleaning and Old Pueblo Moving & Warehouse to host a Mister Rogers’ Sweater Drive from October 13 through November 13.

Sweaters are probably the last thing on Southern Arizona minds right now, but as you clean out your closets in preparation for fall, please consider helping AZPM honor the spirit of Mister Rogers by donating new or gently used sweaters, hoodies, sweatshirts, and jackets to our neighbors in the Tucson Unified School District.

November 13 is also National Cardigan Day and National Day of Kindness.

Drop off cold-weather outer wear for adults and children at any of the five Schaffer locations across town; Old Pueblo Moving Company will pick them up on November 13 and deliver them to the TUSD clothing banks, where they will be distributed to students and their families.

Thank you for being a good neighbor!
