Former UA College of Science dean talks Biosphere 2, OSIRIS-REx

Former University of Arizona College of Sciences dean Joaquin Ruiz was appointed vice president of global environmental futures at the UA earlier this year.

Ruiz's term as dean saw the college grow into one of the university's top departments, and included initiatives like Biosphere 2 and ongoing planetary projects like OSIRIS-REx. Tony Perkins spoke with Dr. Ruiz about his two decades of leadership at the college.
