Andrew Oxford joined AZPM in 2021. He previously covered politics for The Arizona Republic where he was part of the newspaper’s reporting on the 2020 election, the Legislature and voting rights. He has also helped The Republic cover breaking news across the Southwest for The USA Today Network working on assignments from Texas to Nevada. Andrew got his start in journalism freelancing for public radio programs, then went on to work as the state capitol reporter for The Santa Fe New Mexican and for The Associated Press bureau in Sacramento.
