Summer Hom grew up in Cochise County and is passionate about reporting local news and keeping the community informed about the latest happenings in our area. She previously worked for two years as a reporter with the Herald/Review newspaper, where she covered education, arts, politics, courts and other general assignments in Cochise County.

When she's not in the newsroom or out in the field, you can find her either with her nose in a book, hiking some of the beautiful trails in Cochise County, or in the classroom — she is currently finishing a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in Government & Public Service.
