More Good News from AZPM

2011-2012 Rosalynn Carter Center Fellowship

In my earlier email, I neglected to report how pleased we are that one of our new hires, Online Producer Gisela Telis, has been awarded a prestigious fellowship from The Carter Center for the 2011-12 Rosalynn Carter Center Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism. After the shootings on Jan. 8th, coverage of mental heath issues has moved into focus and we are working to provide more regular reporting on mental health topics. We are also beginning discussions with prospective funders for a 3-year grant to support a funded reporter position to address this important topic.
