Children of the Holocaust: Stories of Survival Preview and Q&A

Producer Laura Markowitz presented excerpts from AZPM's original, multi-platform production.

Children of the Holocaust: Stories of Survival Preview and Q&A January 27, 2023 at the Tucson Jewish Museum and Holocaust Center.

In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Friday, Jan. 27, Arizona Public Media presented a preview of its upcoming collection of local Holocaust survivor interviews, "Children of the Holocaust: Stories of Survival" to guests at the Tucson Jewish Museum and Holocaust Center.

Last fall, project producer Laura Markowitz sat down with 18 survivors from Southern Arizona in an effort to further archive these stories before they are lost to history. She discussed her experience collecting these stories and shared excerpts of some of the interviews.
