Join AZPM for PBS Kids Day at the Children's Museum Tucson!

Visitors are invited to enjoy the vibrant world of PBS Kids as you engage in hands-on activities designed to spark creativity and curiosity in children of all ages.

AZPM and Children’s Museum Tucson have partnered to present PBS Kids Day, a day packed with fun and learning for the whole family! Join us on Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Children’s Museum Tucson for a celebration filled with interactive exhibits, educational activities, and exciting opportunities to meet popular PBS Kids characters.

Admission to the museum is free during PBS Kids Day thanks to our sponsors. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet their favorite PBS Kids characters, including Daniel Tiger, Alma Rivera, and Nature Cat! Discover special surprises throughout the museum and fill your PBS Kids Passport with stamps from our participating organizations for a chance at the AZPM prize wheel.

Participating organizations include El Rio Health, Make Way for Books, Pima County Public Library, Postal History Foundation, SARSEF, Stories that Soar! @ Literacy Connects, Climbing Tree Community School, Highland Free School, and more.

“This event is a chance for families to enjoy a day of fun while fostering a love for learning and exploration,” said Timna Guerchon, AZPM Event Coordinator. “We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the festivities, and experience the magic of PBS Kids and the Children’s Museum Tucson!” PBS Kids Day is presented by TMC Health, with support from City of Tucson/Tucson Water, Casa de Los Niños, Hughes Federal Credit Union, PNC Bank, Rio Nuevo, Legacy Traditional Schools, and Tucson JCC.
