Arizona Public Media leads Tucson Market in Emmy® Nominations

AZPM has received has received 32 individual Emmy® nominations for 17 projects across 12 categories

Emmy Nominations for AZPM AZPM is proud to be recognized by The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts with 32 individual Emmy® nominations for 17 projects across 12 categories in 2019.

The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced Monday that Arizona Public Media has received has received 32 individual Emmy® nominations for 17 projects across 12 categories, the most for a public media station in the region which includes Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and El Centro, California. AZPM’s signature newsmagazine series, Arizona Illustrated, again received multiple nods, but most notable this year are the three nominations for Arizona 360, AZPM’s new public affairs show. In the past four years, AZPM has won forty-five individual Emmy® Awards, including the prestigious Governor’s Award for the 2016 original documentary Passing On, and the Overall Excellence award in 2015.
