Ready Jet Go! Special Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing

AZPM and Pima County Public Library presented a free screening to families at Eckstrom-Columbus Library

AZPM presented a free screening of Ready Jet Go! One Small Step to families at Eckstrom-Columbus Library.

Arizona Public Media worked with the staff at Eckstrom-Colombus Library to present a free screening of the PBS Kids special Ready, Jet, Go!: One Small Step on June 11th, 2019. The special celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 and the moon landing and premieres on PBS on June 17th.

There were family-friendly activities offered at the event, such as coloring, arts and crafts, computer programs, iPads with the ScratchJr. app and more. In addition to interacting with the families, AZPM operated a booth and handed out free stickers, activity booklets, pencils, and bookmarks. Free popcorn was also provided by the library during the screening.
