Celebrating Literacy at the Fox Theatre

AZPM participated in Fox Literacy Day with PBS Kids activities and a preview screening of Molly of Denali.

Arizona Public Media participated in Fox Literacy Day at the historic Fox Theatre in downtown Tucson on June 25. AZPM operated a table at the event where staff engaged with children in activities and handed out stickers, bookmarks, coloring pages, activity booklets, and pencils. The event featured screenings of several film shorts and literacy-related goods and AZPM presented a special preview of the new PBSKids series Molly of Denali, the first nationally distributed children’s series in the U.S. to feature a Native American lead character.
