ONE YEAR after COVID changed our lives, AZPM invited viewers and listeners to look back and explore the ways the pandemic has shaped how we experience life in Southern Arizona. This effort culminated in a LIVE virtual conversation with the voices we know best: Tom McNamara, Lorraine Rivera, Christopher Conover, and Tony Paniagua.
On March 30th, AZPM members and supporters joined to participate in One Year Live: an exclusive “behind the scenes” conversation with AZPM talent about what it has been like to live, work, and report during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the event, our hosts answered audience questions about the challenges of reporting during a pandemic, the importance of public media during unprecedented times like these, and the incredible stories of resilience, connection, and community they observed over the past year.
