Femme Photo Club
Femme Photo Club invites woman and nonbinary photographers of all proficiencies into a safe space to develop their skills whether they’re using a top-of-the-line camera or a cell phone. Through the lens of its original members, see how the group has inspired personal growth and fostered community creativity.
Special Eats
Tamara Varga couldn’t find a job for his 16-yer-old son with autism – so she created one. Alongside with her business partner Bill Harman, she created an inclusive environment and workplace for people with special needs, where the glue of the business is grilled cheese and love.
Patrick Robles for the People
From a young age Patrick Robles has always had a passion for public service. As student body president of the University of Arizona, Robles has fought for students’ voices to be heard. From working to extend fare free public transit, to improving mental health and food benefits, Robles and the students have shaped a university that better serves the students and the community.
Love and Hot Dogs
After recent health-scare we check on Daniel Contreras, owner of restaurant, El Güero Canelo. The Sonoran Hot Dog is one of Tucson’s most well-known delicacies, so we look at the man and his restaurant that put them on the map, by winning a James Beard Award. A customer expresses his love for the establishment and food and employee explains a little bit on what makes a good Sonoran dog, and why she loves where she works. On Oct. 20, 2024, when this airs it'll be the 31st anniversary of the restaurant, and now Contreras plans on retiring in 2025.
