Monday is the deadline to register to vote in the Aug. 30 primary election for state and local offices.
The Republican nomination for U.S. Senate is at stake, with two challengers to incumbent John McCain. He is seeking his sixth term.
Also on the ballot in Southern Arizona are Republican and Democratic races in the 1st Congressional District and a Democratic race in the 2nd Congressional District.
The primary election will also narrow the field in two Republican races for Pima County Board of Supervisors and several countywide positions, including county attorney and sheriff.
The quickest way to register or update your registration is online or in person at the county recorder’s office in the county justice courts building, 240 N. Stone Ave.
