- January of 2020 marks the ninth anniversary of the mass shooting in Tucson that killed six people and injured thirteen, including then-Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Emma Gibson, the tribal affairs reporter at AZPM, spoke with lawyer, professor and author James D. Diamond about his book After the Blood Bath: Is Healing Possible in the Wake of Rampage Shootings?, which compares how Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities cope with the results of mass shootings.

- Mark talks with New York-based stage director and educator Kent Gash about coming to Tucson to direct "Master Harold"...and the Boys for the Arizona Theatre Company. The play, written by South African playwright Athol Fugard, explores the consequences of Apartheid-era politics between a young man born into privilege, and the two African servants whom he has known his entire life. For the interview, Gash is joined by Odera Adimorah, one of the three actors. "Master Harold"...and the Boys opens at The Temple of Music & Art in Tucson on Saturday, January 18th and runs through February 8th, before heading to Phoenix for performances from February 13th through March 1st.
