SunTran announced Tuesday that masks are no longer required on public transportation in Tucson.
The announcement came after the TSA announced it will no longer enforce the federal mask mandate on planes and trains.
On Monday, a federal judge struck down the federal mask mandate.
SunTran pointed out that while masks are no longer required, the CDC still recommends public transit riders wear masks.
