- And, aphasia is a communication disorder that is usually the result of a stroke or head injury. June is National Aphasia Awareness Month. Mark visits with group members at the Aphasia Center of Tucson, and meets Felisa and Rona, two young women facing the daunting challenge of re-learning how to speak, read, and write.
